Are you planning a trip to Cancun or are you already visiting this paradise?
If you are, I’m sure you already know that the waters here are crystal-clear, blue, and SO beautiful, it feels like a dream.
On second thought, probably that’s one of the main reasons you are considering Cancun in the first place!
But do you know what lies under those spectacular shades of turquoise waters? If you don’t, I’m about to blow your mind away.
Mexico has the second biggest coral reef in the entire world. But Cancun is the first-place visibility-wise! There’s no place on the whole planet where you can admire the colors and textures of the different corals like this!
Here, an incredible amount of fish will be dancing around you, while the turtles and rays will get so close you would need to be careful not to touch them.
Amazing, right?
The good news keeps on coming!
The most fun tour in Cancun
We have the best tour for you to explore all of this! The Ocean Rider is a three-hour tour full of adrenaline and fun.
Onboard a speedboat, you will get to visit the Nichupte Lagoon, home of most crocodiles of the area, followed by the incredible El Meco coral reef, and an amazing sunken ship.
We will make two stops along the way to snorkel in the reef. You will also be able to admire the amazing underwater life —around 600 different species of fish that inhabit these amazing and warm waters. We will provide you with all the equipment needed for you to enjoy the trip.
You won’t need to worry about anything but living this truly amazing experience. Your job will be to contemplate the magic underwater like the enigmatic ship from WWII. This sunken ship is lying there on purpose since that the Mexican government decided to sink it in order to help develop more corals.
What you will need?
There’s not much you need, besides a love for adventure and some swimming skills. But don’t worry, the life jackets are included and our guide will be there at all times to help you and point at everything that you might be missing while you’re awe-ing about the spectacular view. Don’t forget to bring your swimming suit, biodegradable sunscreen, and mosquito repellent, given that you will be sailing between mangroves.
We will give you a bottle of water, so you can catch your breath after all the swimming. You can also bring some non-alcoholic drinks (for safety reasons). You may also want to bring a waterproof camera, so you can relive your memories forever once you head back home. If you don’t own one, ask the crew about the photographer’s rates, as they are definitely worth it!
When the trip is over, you’ll have showers and restrooms available, in case you want to rinse yourself of the salt before you head back and change your clothes. But remember, there’s no washing off of the incredible memories that you made!
